Personalized Track
Track Coordinator: Karen McArthur MD
This tract is designed to meet the needs of the resident who wishes to develop a focused individualized educational experience. The personalized track allows the resident the opportunity to combine aspects of more than one track or develop a unique area of study.
Educational Objectives:
- In the first and second year of the program the resident will define the specific focus are of their track with the support of their Faculty Advisor and Track Coordinator.
- The tract must have a clear educational focus within the scope of Family Medicine
- By the end of the residency the resident will demonstrate advanced skills in the areas of their track focus.
Core Curricular Components:
- The components of the track curriculum will be dependent on the specific area of focus
- The resident will be encouraged to engage in scholarly activities related to the area of study
