Following his residency training in Pittsburgh, Dr. Sinusas practiced for eight years in rural Vermont. He had a full spectrum practice, including obstetrics and was active in teaching medical students from the University of Vermont and Dartmouth. He joined the Middlesex faculty in 1988 and was named Associate Director in 2003. He holds appointments as an Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Connecticut and an Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Sinusas continues to enjoy practicing and teaching the full spectrum of family medicine; delivering babies, performing office procedures, caring for young and old in the office and hospital. He also has a special interest in sports medicine. At the residency, he coordinates all resident rotations and schedules and serves as the Clinical Director of the Middletown office. At the hospital, he serves as Co-Chair of the Breastfeeding Committee and is the Director of Medical Education, coordinating all CME activities for the Middlesex Hospital medical staff.
