Following his training at Middlesex Hospital, Dr. Weis joined the faculty and was appointed Clinical Director of the newest of the programs three offices in Portland. Dr. Weis chairs the Family Medicine Quality Assurance Committee at Middlesex Hospital. In addition, he holds appointments as an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and as Clinical Instructor at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Weis is certified in both geriatrics and hospice and palliative medicine and leads the residency program’s geriatric curriculum. He is the medical advisor to the Portland School System. Dr. Weis’ particular interests include school health, women’s health care including colposcopy, and office procedures in family medicine. Dr. Weis leads the Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine Track.
