The residents and faculty at Middlesex are very professional, dedicated, and are deeply invested in both the community and the success and health of the physicians caring for its citizens. Middlesex’s participation in the P4 program is just the latest way that this program reaffirms its commitment to training the most competent, confident, and compassionate doctors that will be ready to serve the wonderful Middletown community or other communities around the world. The tracks of excellence are a unique and valuable opportunity to customize your residency experience and pursue individual passions or interests. I hope to purse a career in academics so I am eager to learn from such wonderful teacher-clinicians and be a part of the academic and leadership track. Unlike doing a fellowship, the tracks provide a more longitudinal and integrated path to learning. It is exciting to be a part of a family medicine residency program that is considered a respected and valuable asset to both Middlesex Hospital and the greater Middletown community.
What’s P4?
Our residency program includes a fourth year of some of the most innovative learning experiences a resident can find anywhere, including our Tracks of Excellence.
