A South Carolina native, Dr. Kelly came north to train near her husband’s home town and check out the Connecticut food scene. She participated in our Behavioral Medicine track, developing advanced skills in addiction medicine. She implemented an innovative initiative enrolling patients struggling with substance use in medication assisted therapy prior to hospital discharge. She served as Chief Resident during her final year. After graduation she returned to South Carolina to enter independent practice.
